Books

Here are some of the books I’ve read that I think are worth passing on to virtually everyone. if you’re interested in reading along please click on the amazon link and you’ll help me fund the running of this blog!

See you at the Top – Zig Ziglar

An amazing potpourri of stories, experiences and a master class in how to weave them together to create a book that can inspire you to do better in life. This is one of the few books I’ve returned back to, I hope you get as much out of it as I do still today..

 Deadly Harvest – Geoff Bond

This book is a fascinating read on origins of homo-sapiens. It details the development of the human body, what it was designed to eat and some suggestions on why we may not feel as well as we should.

Hopefully you’ll reflect upon your diet and make some changes as a result. Very interesting stuff.

Wheat Belly – Doctor William Davis

Following on from the realms of Deadly harvest, Wheat Belly, written by a practicing doctor, recounts the history of man  and Wheat, which when you read about it, wheat is one of the most successful and diffuse food sources available in the world.

There is a warning after reading this book you might not look at people and there shapes quite in the same way, while it would be to spoil the discoveries you can make by reading this book. Enjoy.

48 Days to the work you love. – Dan Miller

My current favorite book to pick up and re-read on personal development. Dan Miller has a podcast which in reality gives you all the information you can read about in this book. Saying this, reading the book is certainly powerful, so much so I’ve got a version on Kindle and then a second hardcopy that has spent most of it’s time being loaned out rather than in my posession!

If you want to make a job change or evaluate if your happy where you are. Read this book.

The Millionaire next door – Thomas Stanley

A little bit of a stodgy and technical read. It’s insight seems obvious but with some thought and realisation, this book lays out the financial story of the Tortoise and the Hare. I’d recommend it as a worth while read and hey you could be come a millionaire as a result.

 Platform – Michael Hyatt

The reason for me starting this Blog, a quick read from an obvious practitioner of online personal brand creation. If you want to be an entrepreneur this is one of the must reads.

My next book.

The Miracle Morning – Hal Elrod

And a gadget..

Okay so this isn’t a book but a clever gadget that I’d like!
